Mena Alexa Suvari was born in 1979. She is a famous American model, fashion designer and actress. Soon after she began her career as an actress Mena Alexandra Suvari starred as an actress in the 1990s on TV shows Boy Meets World and High Incident. She made her film debut in 1997's drama film Nowhere. Her performances on the film American Beauty, for which she received an BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie brought her to broader attention. The next time she appeared was in Loser (2000) in which she starred alongside American Pie actor Jason Biggs. She was later the role of the title role on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2002). She had appearances in the 2002 acclaimed independent drama Spun and in the 2004 thriller feature Trauma. She also appeared in the HBO's drama series Six Feet Under in 2004 she was nominated as a member of the Best Cast of the 2005 Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, she was cast in a series of movies which included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the film adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari models for Lancome Paris Adaptive, and she's been in a variety of blogs and magazines such as Vogue. She has been a strong supporter and campaigner for the African Medical and Research Foundation. The organization is also active in issues of female empowerment and is associated with groups that promote awareness of breast cancer and an End Violence Against Women Campaign.
