Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines and is now an Filipino American actress as well as a comedian, host of a television show and model. The new queen of Drama in various media publications, Panganiban is regarded as one of the best skilled and experienced actresses from the Philippines. The youngest-ever runner-up, Hale placed second in the contest. Angelica Hale suffered from double pneumonia in 2012. At the time, she was four years old that time. The reason for her illness was an aggressive strain of strep bacteria. Angelica Hale desperately needed urgent medical attention and was put on ECMO life support at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. She developed multiple organ failures, and her kidneys were not able to recover. Her condition forced her to alter her daily routine around hemodialysis and later on the peritoneal dialysate. Over the course of the 80 days she spent in Hospital, the life of her changed forever. After one year and a half of dialysis Angelica was ready to undergo the biggest surgery of her life-her kidney transplant. It was her mother who donated her kidney. Angelica as well as her mother, went through successful kidney transplantation on September 13th 2013 in two amazing hospitals that were close to each other: Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale has been pursuing her goals of becoming a star ever since.
